How can I call, book or pre-order a taxi or limousine?

Call and book quickly and easily by calling us under 17 17 02 or use our online booking form (taxi fare calculator).

How early do I have to book my journey by using the booking form?

Trips that are to take place up to 10 p.m. on the same day must be booked at least 3 hours before the start of your journey. Telephone orders can be placed immediately at any time.

Which vehicle categories do you offer and what are the differences?

Where do I meet the Bremen Taxi driver at the airport or in the hotel?

If you would like to be picked up at the airport*, our driver will be there punctually at the exit of your arrival terminal (gate) holding a “Bremen Taxi” sign with your name and/or company name written on it.

If you would like to be picked up at the hotel, our driver will report directly to reception and will be waiting for you there.

* = It is very important in this context that you give us your flight number when booking online, so that we can also greet you punctually at the correct terminal if this is desired.

What happens if I can't find my driver?

If this is the case, please call us on 171702 (05:00 – 22:00). Our experienced staff will help you so that our local drivers can find you as quickly as possible.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

If your flight is delayed, a 15-minute waiting time is free at your specified pick-up time at the airport!

Each additional 10 minutes of waiting time then costs 8.00 euros extra.

If your flight is delayed for more than 30 minutes, we ask you to inform us in advance by telephone, as far as this was known before your flight, so that our driver can pick you up on time despite the delay.

How can I pay?

If you wish, you can pay in cash after your journey or via cash card (debit) and credit card directly to the driver.

Note on payment with cash cards (debit) or credit cards
If you wish to pay with an cash card (debit) or credit card, we ask you to inform the driver before starting your journey, as there is little or no internet access in some areas of Germany, so that smooth billing via cash card (debit) or credit cards cannot be guaranteed.

Information on payments with cash cards (debit) or credit cards for long-distance journeys
For security reasons, our drivers are authorized to debit a security deposit in the amount of the expected fare or a partial amount by cash card (debit) or credit card in the taxi/limousine before starting a long-distance journey (outside the city of Bremen).

Do I get an invoice after my ride?

Yes, if necessary we will be happy to provide you with an invoice by e-mail. Please inform the driver of your request. The invoice will then be sent to the email address you provided.

Can I pay on account?

For registered regular customers we offer payment on account, please contact us!

Do you charge an extra fee for cash card or credit card payments?

No, there are no additional costs if you pay by cash card (debit) or credit card.

Does it cost anything if I cancel my booking?

If your ordered ride is in the pickup area within the city of Bremen, you should cancel at least 3 hours before the specified pickup time by email (info@airport-taxi-bremen.com). Then the cancellation is free of charge, there are no cancellation fees!

If your ordered ride is in the pickup area outside the city of Bremen, you should cancel at least 10 hours before the specified pickup time by email (info@airport-taxi-bremen.com). Then the cancellation is free of charge, here too there are no cancellation fees!

However, if your cancellation reaches us after the specified no-cancellation periods – here only the receipt of your e-mail is relevant – we will charge a cancellation fee of 20% of your booked journey.

Example:
If your pre-ordered journey – only the outward journey counts here – has a value of EUR 30.00, we will charge a cancellation fee of EUR 6.00.

Can I smoke or vape in the taxi / limousine?

No, since September 1st, 2007 the “Federal Law on Protection against the Dangers of Passive Smoking” has been in force. This clearly regulates in Section 1 Paragraph 1 No. 2 of the Federal Non-Smoking Protection Act (BNachrSchG) that smoking in motor vehicles used for passenger transport is generally prohibited.

This applies to both passengers and the driver himself during the respective journey. This also applies to empty trips and private trips in the taxis.

Is eating and drinking allowed in the taxi / limousine?

In principle, our drivers can decide for themselves whether eating and drinking is allowed in their taxi/limousine. We recommend that you clarify this with the driver before you start your journey.

Basically, hardly anyone will say anything against a chocolate bar or an apple. With a doner kebab, a fish roll or a currywurst, things can look different.

The consumption of alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited in our vehicles.

Can I take animals in the taxi / limousine?

Animals may only be carried in transport boxes provided for this purpose and may only be transported in the trunk (only in the station wagon!). Animals are not permitted inside!

If you are taking an animal with you, you must inform us in writing before you start your journey by telephone or, if you have ordered via the online booking form.

If notification of an animal transport immediately before the start of the journey – without Bremen Taxi being informed about it – our drivers may refuse the journey. An immediate replacement of the corresponding vehicle and/or the driver is then not guaranteed.

Does the fare include a tip?

No, you are free to tip. Nevertheless, our drivers are happy about a tip. This good gesture expresses the passenger’s gratitude for a good service.

Is there any other cost?

No, all costs are covered by the regular fare within the city of Bremen or a fixed price outside of the city of Bremen that was agreed when the order was placed.
